We’re Veronika and Daniel – the owners of Zenz, which includes the restaurant Vinzenz, the hotel Haus am Turm, and Ida Apartments. Warm hospitality, good food, and excellent wines are our passion. And that’s exactly what we want to offer our guests. Through personal touches, defined by attentiveness and friendliness. To relax, feel good, and enjoy.
That’s the spirit Zenz stands for. The name is short for Vinzenz, which was Veronika’s grandfather’s name. He owned an inn where our restaurant is today. Zenz was a charming man. Warm-hearted, chatty, and truly himself. With roots in Sterzing, he was actively involved in shaping the city’s and the region’s politics and considered his inn a community meeting place. He was someone who knew what tastes good and what’s good for you. Someone that wouldn’t offer his guests something he didn’t enjoy himself. Someone you felt at ease around and wanted to be in the company of.

Zenz is our role model. Just like him, we pay attention to every tiny detail, from the carrots to the service. Our wine cellar is filled with thousands of handpicked bottles. Our meat is sourced from select regional farmers that we know personally. A selection of our vegetables is grown directly in our garden. Our rooms and apartments are tastefully appointed, with high-end furnishings and materials.
